How to Become a Member
Becoming a member is easy! Simply stop by at class time and ask to join. The school will require you to complete a Membership Agreement form and sign a release. But no hurry, you can try it out for a few classes to see if it’s something you’d like to do before signing up.
How to Pay the Monthly Fee
Your membership fee is due monthly and is set up as an automatic withdrawal from your bank account. Request a form to do this when you sign up.
What Are the Costs of Membership
Below is a chart showing the monthly tuition costs per family at the Gold Pointe school:

In addition to the tuition costs, you must also pay an annual fee for membership into the AAU (Amateur Athletics Union). The AAU is a national organization and offers many benefits including insurance if you are injured at an AAU sanctioned event. The fee for an adult is $24 per year and $14 per year for a child. You must be a member of AAU to participate in classes.
In addition to class fees, a $25 fee is required to test for new belts. Tests are held on the first Saturday of every third month (February, May, August, November). Test fees for black belts are $100. This fee includes the cost of the new belt.
After you reach your Yellow Belt level, you will need to purchase sparring equipment. The following are the pieces and costs for the pads. To order gear please contact a black belt instructor, they may require you, or your child to try on different sizes to ensure that you get the correct one.
